I am most pleased to have been requested to submit a reference for Ms. Lorraine Boutin- Gleason. 

In my capacity as Area Manager, Heart and Stroke Foundation, from 1994 through to June 1998, one of my accountabilities was the hiring and management of personnel for the designated territory. In January 1997, Lorraine accepted the position of P2P Coordinator. This position demanded a results-oriented, organized individual capable of overseeing and implementing the administration and methodology of this campaign.  Lorraine proved herself to be very poised and professional. Her planning and interpersonal skills resulted in an increase of more than 50% to the volunteer base while meeting a very challenging monetary goal. 

Lorraine’s dedication and demonstrated success opened the doors to numerous opportunities within the organization including but not limited to her role as Big Bike for Stroke Coordinator.   In this challenging role she was responsible for team recruitment, direct contact with sponsors, partners and participants while multi-tasking the coordination of event particulars.  Once again, she proved her ability to reach her defined goals while handling a diversity of tasks in a realistic and practical approach.

Lorraine is a reliable, dependable individual with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.  She has a great capacity for the administrative joined with the ability to coordinate various elements of an event not only meeting expectations but also exceeding expectations.
